October is here, and things are definitely picking up at 39D.
September was a busy month for the team, with plenty happening across 39Degrees, Elevating Business, 39Security and UKDDI. We also hit a number of the goals we set ourselves, which was great to see after a busy few months.
Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to and what’s coming up this month.
Our Elevating Business networking events have been going from strength to strength, with some really good turnouts over the last few months.
Our most recent event was a great morning, with a mix of familiar faces and plenty of new people joining us. A big thank you to Mantle Space for providing such a great venue and hosting us.
We’ve also recently taken Elevating Business to Havering, giving us the chance to meet even more local businesses and make some new connections.
We’re looking forward to the next event in Harlow and seeing where the group continues to go.
And there’s another small update from Mia. The new Elevating Business banners have arrived and are ready for the next event 🎉
We’ve also been putting more work into 39Security, with cyber security and AI becoming a bigger part of what we offer.
We’re currently working on our upcoming cyber security and AI training days, designed to give businesses practical advice they can actually use.
Cyber security can sometimes feel like a complicated subject, especially for smaller businesses, so the aim is to keep things straightforward and useful.
More details on the upcoming training days will be shared through 39Security.
We’re also bringing more attention to UKDDI, which is part of the wider 39D group.
UKDDI focuses on UK business phone numbers, SIP trunks and call divert, giving businesses another option when it comes to their business communications.
We’ll be sharing more about UKDDI over the coming months, including how it started and how it has developed into what it is today.
Matthew and Laura also headed to London for the New Clients on Demand event.
It was a useful day, with plenty of conversations, ideas and insights around winning new clients and developing new business. Thanks to Paul Green for hosting and bringing everyone together.
We’re always keen to get the team out to events like this, not just for the networking but to keep learning and bringing new ideas back into the business.
One of the highlights from September was Laura speaking at the Rotary Club of Epping about her running challenge.
Laura completed 24 marathons in seven months, raising awareness and funds for Child Autism UK along the way.
She shared some of the challenges involved in taking on that kind of commitment, as well as what kept her motivated throughout it.
It was great to see her talk about the experience and the reason behind it, and we’re all very proud of what she achieved.
This month, Matthew, Laura and the team will also be heading to the Bishop’s Stortford Means Business Expo.
We’ll be at Stand 35, so if you’re going along, come and say hello.
It’s always good to get out and meet other local businesses, have a few conversations and see what people are working on.
There’s plenty happening across the different parts of the business at the moment, and October is shaping up to be another busy month.
Between networking events, training, expos and the day-to-day work with our clients, there’s certainly no shortage of things going on.
And with Halloween at the end of the month, there’s at least one excuse for us to get a little bit spooky along the way. 👻
